1. Register to vote or check your voter registration status
   Make sure you register before the deadline!
2. Find out who is on your ballot
   Check the Elkhart County Clerk’s Office or Indiana Voter Portal
3. Learn about the candidates
   Ballotpedia provides detailed survey responses from candidates
   Vote 411 also has information on candidates’ positions on a variety of issues
   League of Women Voters of Elkhart County may have more local information
4. Find out where to vote
   Also, make sure you know what hours the polls are open!
5. Know what to bring with you
   To vote in Indiana, you need a photo ID that was issued by Indiana or by the US government.
