Summer Reading 2025: Reading Under the Stars
June 2-July 19
Read daily and attend library programs this summer to win prizes! Summer Reading is open to all ages. Register and pick up a reading log at the library anytime after June 2. Your goal is to read for at least 20 minutes a day for 30 days, and our communal goal is to read all the way to the moon! Here’s how it works:
- Reading at least 20 minutes in a day = 1 day of reading
- Every 5 days of reading gets you 1 ticket for the grand prize raffle.
- Every 5 days, ages 0-5 also choose a prize from the astronaut’s treasure trove.
- At 10 days of reading, kids ages 0-17 choose a prize from the astronaut’s treasure trove.
- At 20 days of reading, kids ages 0-17 get a full-size candy bar.
- At 30 days of reading, everyone (adults included!) gets to choose a book to keep.
- At every library program you attend, you’ll get 1 ticket for the grand prize raffle.
There are 10 grand prizes up for grabs this summer! Show your log to library staff to get a raffle ticket for every 5 days you read. Raffle jars will be set up in the library, and you can enter your tickets for whichever prize(s) you hope to win. We will draw winners via live stream on Monday, July 21.
