Fine Free Policy

No fines are charged but a patron is responsible for the cost of any unreturned item.

Here’s how it works:

Two Overdue Notices

Any item can be renewed once. When an item is past due, we send out a first overdue notice. If there is no response within a week, a second overdue notice is sent.

One Billing Notice

If there is no response to the second overdue notice, we send out a billing notice with the cost of the missing item. Your account will be unusable until it is settled. Parents are responsible for children’s accounts.
