Reading Ready! Early Life Storytime
Bring your little ones for an interactive storytime, where we’ll focus on early literacy skills, socio-emotional learning, and engaging experiences in themed segments.
STEM with a Story
Saturdays are for STEM! Join us as we embark on this weekend series at MPL that includes: a story read aloud relating to that month’s theme, a STEM experiment to work on together, and knowledge to take with you!
Teens

Volunteens
Volunteer at the library and around town for National Honor Society credit and Civics Points you may need, or just because you want to! These opportunities will be every other month for two-hour increments beginning in February 2024. We’ll have a lot of fun together while giving back to our community.
Frame by Frame: A Graphic Novel Book Club
Calling all graphic novel lovers! This book club will use both J and YA books from our collection and meet on one Monday each month. Sign up in-person at the youth desk and pick up your copy to borrow from the library today!
Art Nights
Join us the last Thursday evening of each month for various art programs with different artists, presenters, and mediums! The audience for this series will rotate between teens, children, and families so there are plenty of creative and fun options for yourself and your family to choose from.

Enjoy a lighter read? Join Books & Brews – an informal book club held at local restaurants the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Register and pick up your book at the library front desk.
Cinema Showcase
Join us every first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. for a matinee showing of a new movie on the big screen. Popcorn and coffee are provided.

At this long-standing book club, we read books on a theme each spring and fall. Speakers present on the theme and then lead a group book discussion. Register and pick up your book at the library front desk.
