Library Seeks to Fill a Board of Trustees Vacancy
The Middlebury Public Library Board of Trustees seeks candidates to fill a vacancy. The successful candidate will serve a four-year term pending School Board approval. A first review of applications will begin July 5, 2022.
The Board of Trustees acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective and ethical governance of the library, and for supporting the Library Director. Board positions are voluntary, and residents must live in one of the townships served by the library (Middlebury, York, and Jefferson) and have done so for at least two years.
How to apply
To apply for the Library Board of Trustees, review the Information Packet then complete the online application and email to the Library Director or submit a print application (available at the library) to the Library Director by July 1, 2022. The Board of Trustees will review applications between July 5 and July 14 then provide a recommendation to the School Board for their appointment.
